“Harmonic filter and damping resistors” which are manufactured by Aktif are used to attenuate the harmonics in the networks in a safely and controlled manner. Discharge resistors and RC filters prevent to transient and dangerous discharges caused by inductive loads including capacitors, power transformers and big reactors. This helps to increase the power quality and ensure that the electricity of generation, transmission and distribution are more safely, more economic and more sustainable. Ferroresonance resistors are connected to the open delta windings of voltage transformers.
