SME Series Metal Enclosed Modular Switchgears

SME Series Metal Enclosed Modular Switchgears are protection, switching and control panels that can be manufactured up to 40.5 kV, 1250 A, 25 kA/1s electrical specifications. Aktif Brand SME switchgears manufactured in accordance with LSC-2A service continuity, AFL internal arc classification, PI partitioning class, IP3X protection class, IEC 62271-200 standard and TEDAŞ-MYD/95-007E regulation and there are 2 different types:

• SME-0fixed trolley circuit breaker
• SME-1 withdrawable trolley circuit breaker

Metal Enclosed Modular Switchgears consist of 3 independent compartments;

• Low Voltage Compartment : This compartment contains all secondary circuits for measurement, protection, control, monitoring, communication and other associated systems. In addition, according to customer requests can be used any brand and model protection relays, energy analyzers, electricity meters, current voltage test terminals.
• Busbar Compartment : This compartment contains electrolytic copper busbars according to rated current.
• Switching Equipment Compartment : In this compartment, there are switching ersonels (SF6/vacuum circuit breaker, disconnector with SF6 gas, load break switch, rotary disconnector, earthing disconnector), current transformer, voltage transformer, surge arrester, capacitive voltage divider, cable connection couplings in accordance with the project.

SME series switchgears are fully suitable for use in SMK series monoblock concrete kiosks, SPK series prefabricated concrete kiosks and SCK series steel kiosks and can be used in all kinds of industrial facilities and indoor applications. Thanks to the modular structure of Aktif Brand SME Series Metal Enclosed Switchgears, additional switchgears can be easily integrated into the existing system. Tropicalization option against corrosion is also offered.

SME Series switchgears are manufactured in accordance with IEC 62271-200, TSE EN 62271-200 standards and TEDAŞ-MYD/95-007.E regulations that having fully type tests taken from internationally accredited laboratories. They have successfully passed seismic type tests in accordance with IEC62271-210, EN60068, IEEE693, GR-63-Core-Zone4 standards.
